When the weather turns cold, warm up these Venison Meatballs Coated in Cherry BBQ Sauce. These tasty treats are great as an appetizer or main course.





Ingredients


  • 1lb venison burger or other ground meat

  • Brownwood Acres Cherry BBQ Sauce

  • 1 egg

  • 1/8 cup of bread crumbs

  • 1/8 cup onions chopped 

  • 1/8 cup green pepper chopped

  • 1/8 cup button mushroom chopped

  • season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and red pepper flakes to taste 


Directions


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

  2. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl

  3. Roll into meatballs about the size of a small clementine/nectarine and place on baking sheet

  4. Bake for 35 minutes, 

  5. Coat in Brownwood Acres Cherry BBQ  (Try Jalapeno Cherry BBQ if you like a little spice!) then return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes.

  6. Enjoy!
