When the weather turns cold, warm up these Venison Meatballs Coated in Cherry BBQ Sauce. These tasty treats are great as an appetizer or main course.
Ingredients
1lb venison burger or other ground meat
1 egg
1/8 cup of bread crumbs
1/8 cup onions chopped
1/8 cup green pepper chopped
1/8 cup button mushroom chopped
season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and red pepper flakes to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl
Roll into meatballs about the size of a small clementine/nectarine and place on baking sheet
Bake for 35 minutes,
Coat in Brownwood Acres Cherry BBQ (Try Jalapeno Cherry BBQ if you like a little spice!) then return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes.
